On the Way to Kamchatka’s Volcanoes (К вулканам Камчатки) combines the photography and writing of Vadim Gippenreiter, one of the notable Soviet/Russian photographers of landscape and nature.

The album documents the extraordinary natural world of the Kamchatka Peninsula in the Russian Far East — its monumental volcanoes, eruptions, geysers, thermal areas, mountains, forests, wildlife and plants.
